Flipped Classroom

The aim is to “flip the space & open your mind”!

Flipped Learning is a pedagogical approach in which direct instruction moves from the group learning space to the individual learning space, and the resulting group space is transformed into a dynamic, interactive learning environment where the educator guides students as they apply concepts and engage creatively in the subject matter.

Goals:

  • Learn about strategies & digital resources for educators 

  • Transform the classroom into a student - centered/project - centered experience 

  • Create flipped academic materials (videos)

Practical activities:

  • To learn: The four pillars of “ F-L-I-P”

  • Review of Finnish teaching materials & flip materials

  • Flipped learning network introduction

  • Flipped learning toolkit “Playing approach to complement traditional teaching”
